FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)

Got questions? You’re not alone! Here are some common things dog parents ask before we get started. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, just reach out—I’m happy to help!

What kind of training do you use?

Positive reinforcement, science-backed methods, and a whole lot of real-world practice. No force, no intimidation—just smart, effective training that helps your dog (and you) feel more confident.

Do you offer in-home training?

Yep! I come to you because training where your dog actually lives and learns makes the most sense. Whether it’s your home, your neighborhood, or the local coffee shop patio—wherever you need help, that’s where we train.

How long is a session?

Most sessions last 45–60 minutes, but I focus on quality over the clock—if we need a few extra minutes to end on a good note, we take them.

What happens in the first session?

In our consultation, we’ll chat about your goals, do a behavior check-in, and dive right into training. After your first official session, you’ll walk away with real strategies to practice, a customized training roadmap, and plenty of encouragement!

Do you work with reactive or
nervous dogs?

Absolutely. I specialize in helping dogs build confidence so they can feel safer in their world. If walks are stressful, new people are scary, or your dog just needs help learning how to relax, we’ll work at their pace to make progress.

When should I start training?

The sooner, the better! Puppies can start as early as 8 weeks, but older dogs can learn too. No dog is too old, too stubborn, or “just set in their ways”—training works at any age.

Can my Welcome Rate session count toward a package?

Yep! If you decide to keep the momentum going, your first session’s cost rolls right into a training package—as long as you sign up within 48 hours. No pressure, just a sweet deal if you’re ready!

How do I book?

Just hit “BOOK NOW” at the top of the page, pick a time for your free consultation, and we’ll get started. Easy peasy!
